Help for after the ingrown toenail treatment?

Helpergirl asked:

I was wondering what I should do with my toe(s) after I got a part of the nail permenantly removed. What kind of shoes should I wear for the next couple days, because I am required to wear closed toe, tennis shoe-like shoes…Should I seek an exeption? Am I allowed to get it wet within the first 24 hours? Just gimme a couple tips..Thanks!!

  1. Well, I would not want you to have to buy a shoe for a week or two of use. See if you can get an exception at work for either a sandal or a slipper. If not, see if you can find yourself a wider pair of shoes to keep yourself comfortable… but something you will wear again. If it is only for a week maybe a size wide ked. I dont know if you are a man or woman so sugesting a shoe is a bit hard. Depending on what kind of work you do, will depend on the shoe you need. If you are in an office and need to wear a sandal or slipper for a few days you are most likely ok. I had to wear a slipper when I had an accident and messed up my foot. Good luck and feel better!!!!
