I haven’t heard of this one - ’til now. I don’t know the ingredients in Vicks, but if it contains an antifungal - that is what will do it.
Nail fungus is candida albicans (yeast). It is the same stuff that gives us athlete’s foot, eczema, psoriasis, vaginitis, jock itch, and other less palatable conditions.
Mine was cured by the doctor using a Dremel (grinding bit) to eliminate the nail, then goop to keep it away.

I’ve never heard of using vicks although it would probably make your toes feel good! Try getting a bottle of Tea Tree Oil from Wal-mart or any drugstore. It is very inexpensive and will last you a long time. Using a clean q-tip apply the tea tree oil to affected areas 2-3 times a day. A little goes a long way. Let it air dry before putting on socks or shoes. You will need to do this for at least 30 days or longer. Anytime you treat a fungal infection it can take 1-3 months to cure. Just be patient.
