  1. you likely have a fungal infection of the nail bed, and you would have to consult a doctor for treatment.

  2. probably candida (fungal) infection. can’t say definitely without seeing it, so see your GP.

  3. You need medical treatment

  4. infection.
    go doctors.

  5. fungal infection most likely. sometimes nail polish can discolor your nails also.

  6. A fungal infection, be careful it does not spread. Dactocort is available from your GP

  7. that happened to me before with my big toe. it disgusted me & it was in the summer & i wanted to wear flip flops but couldnt unless i painted it. i wanted to have a french manicure on my toes so i went to the doctors. he gave me lamisil. so check that stuff out(: it rly works!

  8. Half of your answerers don’t bother to answer your question at all. My toenails (and fingernails) are affected in this way because I have psoriasis. It’s very routine. What you MUST do is keep your toenails (and fingernails) very regularly trimmed. You might also see your GP because (if this is your problem, and I’m not saying it is) you probably will get psoriatic arthritis, which I have in all my fingers and toes, and it is now spreading to my neck etc. So get it checked out. I know this sounds ‘gross’ as one of your respondents said, but it isn’t, it’s just that we all have to think we will possibly be forever lovely. We won’t!
