What is the treatment for ingrown toenails?

You have to go to the doctor so they can pull it out. My brother had one and it took about 1 to 2 weeks to heal. to prevent those, you are suppose to cut a V shape into the middle of your toenail so the nail grows together and not to the sides.

Epson salt and really hot water-soak your infected foot. If you get them concurrently like I had in the past, go to the podiatrist, have him to a procedure on you that consists of numbing your toe up, cutting the nail off, jabbing huge q-tips with a chemical called phenyll on them down into your sides of the toe, and wrapping them up and wabam, ur done. I had a bad one. Had to get it cut out. Hurt but it never came back.
